Initiation is not a big or mysterious word, it is not an occult word

Initiation means making efforts. You are making physical effort, emotional effort, and mental effort to surpass the conditions in which you find yourself and the level you have previously achieved. Initiation is not a big or mysterious word. It is not an occult word. It is actually a simple, psychological term that means you are working so hard that you do not stay where you are presently. All life is progressive, and you must progress continuously.

What does it mean to progress? You are going to make your body really beautiful. You are going to dress beautifully, groom your hair beautifully. You are going to make your health beautiful. This takes effort and striving so that eventually your body becomes first-rate. You can run, swim, wrestle, work hard, and your body can take it. People do not understand  what a simple thing is initiation.

Expand your consciousness

Our mind is occupied with our shoes, with our clothes, with our sex, with our food, with our money in the bank. That is where we are. From that we cannot look up and expand our consciousness. That is why every trouble in the world is because our mind is not a balanced mind.

Sometimes we have one minute to meditate, to pray, but even when we meditate we say, “God, give us another one hundred dollars. Give us a girlfriend, boyfriend. Please help me not to die.” It is all turning around the axis of our self-interest. But sometimes we meditate in the garden and suddenly a light comes into our mind, into our consciousness that this world is not just what we are seeing. There are different dimensions.

If you are smart enough you must find that thread and penetrate into it and find the mysteries, one by one, into the Universe and expand your consciousness – because when you pass away They [the Great Ones] are not going to ask how much money you left. They are going to ask, “What are you in your essence? Are you a cheating, deceiving human being, or are you a noble, spiritual being?

Eyesight is related to your past karma and to your mental and emotional consciousness

Eyesight is related to your past karma and to your mental and emotional consciousness. We could put some letters or symbols here on the wall and bring in a man who is really happy, righteous, and full of forgiveness. He will be able to read the letters and see the symbols clearly. But if you make that person angry, hateful, and jealous, he would not even be able to read the symbols. The eye cells are related to your spiritual advancement. Whenever your consciousness is not clear and your mind and emotions are upset, your vision weakens considerably. On the contrary, when you are joyful or happy, your sight stays clear.

Human beings provide food for the devas

Human beings provide food for the devas. Their food is our visualizations, our aspirations, our dreams, great ideas, and creative thoughts. If you have clairvoyance, you can see that a yogi who sits and meditates has hundreds of “humming birds” taking the “nectar” radiating from him. If you are not doing meditation or higher thinking, you are not giving food to the devas. You are not creating a link with them. They are not inspiring you, so you are cut from them. Because you are cut from them, you do not have balance in your life. You are following the tendencies of the lower kingdom from which you graduated. For example, we say, “Do not hate, do not slander, do not criticize and gossip, do not use malice,” because when the devas come they are poisoned by these negative elements if you radiate them. If you poison them, they do not heal or inspire you, and you fall into sickness and degeneration.

Intellectual block

Some scientists developed the concrete mind in such a degree that they cut the abstract mind and they cannot go higher. This is the greatest disaster for a human being that he cannot for lives break the concrete wall and enter into abstraction.

Some human races have that block, that intellectual block. They are very smart for money, politics, but there is no abstraction. If you say, “God exists, beauty exists,” they say, “what are you talking about? Money exists. Are you crazy? Only money exists. Only power exists. That is all that exists.” They are blocked with their concrete thinking.

Excerpt from the book "Autobiography: Torkom Saraydarian"

I am an accomplished composer and play seven musical instruments. My music has a unique quality of depth.

I am very confident that my Teaching will spread all over the world, and numberless groups will be formed to propagate it in many languages. My Teaching unites all that is highest in all Teachings, and eventually a path of unity will be established among many Teachings.

I came to make the Teaching practical for another five hundred years. When the earth fully enters into Aquarius, I will come again to serve the Great Ones, anchoring Their Teaching into the ocean floor of the masses.

My Teaching will have its main temple, from which it will spread all over the world. Great disciples will organize the Teaching in many ways to further penetrate into the consciousness of the masses.

I will be with this humanity for a long time, because I know the woes of humanity.

I served humanity in the capacity of king, soldier, statesman, teacher, priest, physician, artist, banker, and messenger. In all departments of human endeavor, I did my best.

My duty is related to the masses of people. I understand their psychology, the cause of their suffering, the ways by which they can change their suffering into joy. I can lead them to the future.

I work in this capacity as a servant of Great Ones.

My sufferings and limitations all are the result of my certain personality failures on the path of my dedicated service. They are necessary to keep me on the right track.

All my relations with people are based on a resolution to help them, to uplift them, and to guide them toward Home.

My Teaching is yet under the mist of the morning. The day will come soon when the veil will disappear and with all its beauty my Teaching will shine.

The glory of my Teaching will go to my Teachers. It is They Who conceived me in the womb of Their consciousness.

With all my sincerity and honesty I consider myself only Their servant, Their soldier who will carry again the flag of victory in the valleys, hills, and mountains.

Intuition is comprehension of oneness

Intuition is comprehension of oneness. Intuition is not having a hint. Intuition is not having a sensitivity of what will happen in the future. That is not intuition. Popular lecturers say that intuition is when you feel that you are going to do something tomorrow. That is not intuition. Intuition is an overall sense of oneness that starts from the Spiritual Triad.

You stop your evolution if you do not believe in higher realms

We sometimes think that being human is as far as we can go. Even those who believe in reincarnation continuously emphasize that a person is going to be born as a man or woman and evolve, but stay as a human being. This idea is also wrong.

At one time you were a mineral. Then you became a vegetable, then an animal, and now a human being. You are also going to function in higher forms. But if you do not know that there are possibilities to cease being human and become superhuman, your evolution stops. Whatever you think in your heart is what you are. You stop your evolution if you do not believe in higher realms and strive toward them; you cannot go beyond yourself. The Ageless Wisdom says that if great scientists do not believe in immortality and other lives, they will die and become encapsulated in darkness, born again in the same condition. They stop their own progress by thinking that there is nothing beyond what the human being is.

Do not nourish the negative imaginations of people

Do not nourish the negative imaginations of the people associated with you. Do not say, for example, “I know that in the future you will betray me, you will leave me, you will hurt me in this way or that way...” Do not say, “It is true, you are really sick...” Do not say, “It appears you are going to fail.” These kinds of conclusions are equal to a crime. Instead, you can focus their minds on reality or turn their imagination toward a positive direction.

Every kingdom has its rights

We have a very wrong idea and wrong emphasis that man is the ruler of Nature. This has created in the consciousness of humanity a type of ego and separative consciousness that says man is the ruler of this world and this Universe, and that everything must be subordinated to human beings. Exploitation began in the human kingdom when humanity interfered with the lower kingdoms by using them as sources of amusement, pleasure, food, and exploitation through experimentation.

Each human being must know that he is one link in the chain of existence. As a whole, humanity is one link in the chain. If we really understand this, we will give greater respect to the other kingdoms and learn from them. Just as the human kingdom has its own rights, the other kingdoms have their rights. This gives us an idea of the interrelationship between the kingdoms. There are kingdoms below us and kingdoms above us. Each kingdom is trying to go beyond its own limits and pass into the next kingdom. This concept gives us a progressive urge to transcend and surpass ourselves and be in another state of consciousness.

In every Teaching there is a ray of the Almighty Presence

Every race, every religion, every tradition has the right to live. In every Teaching there is a ray of the Almighty Presence, no matter what religion they are. In every religion if people go to the deepest layers it becomes one religion. The debate, the confusion is only on the surface, but if you go deeper, deeper, people will say, “There is no difference between my religion and your Teaching, so I understand it.”

Who cares in what religion you are? Are you an upstanding person? Are you obeying the Will of God? Are you really in the light? Are you really honest and noble? That is what is really needed. That is what religion is about.

What destroys the sense of duty?

How do you not respond to the sense of duty, to the consciousness of duty? When you use drugs and alcohol, the duty consciousness dies in your body. We have millions of people who do not have the sense of duty because they are using drugs and alcohol.

Second, certain chaotic and loud music destroys the senses in your brain that are related to your duty consciousness. Try it. Listen to very heavy music and the next day you will say, “I do not care.” The music kills the centers that are holding the duty consciousness.

Third, overused sex destroys your duty consciousness. I observed this. It is so scientific. If you want somebody to be dumped and failed in his life, give him an opportunity for more and more sex and you will kill that man or woman.

Prejudices, superstitions, and fanaticism destroy the sense of duty.

Fatigue destroys the sense of duty. You are tired and you say, “I do not care.”

Heavy self-interest prevents you from performing your duties. When you are not doing your duties, most of the time it is a case of being interested in your self-interest more than in the interest of others. Duty is always related to others.

Imagination controls the mechanism of the secretion of the glands

Imagination controls the mechanism of the secretion of the glands. Abnormal imagination on the same object overstimulates the related glands and wastes a great amount of energy. Secretions are very “tasty” for certain kinds of spirits who attach to the person either constructively or destructively. The secretions of negative emotions attract destructive forces, and the secretions of positive emotions attract constructive forces.

Dogs smell our emotions through our secretions. Certain entities are nourished by our smell. A good smell is a sign of a healthy imagination. A good smell attracts higher entities because they love harmony. A bad smell is a sign of disorder and bad imagination.

When we control our imagination, we will see a great improvement in our glandular system.

Daydreaming can make you attach to the forms that you are repeatedly dreaming about

Often the effect of daydreaming is therapeutic. It takes accumulated pressure from the nervous system and releases the physical body from various tensions. But if used in excess, the forms created in daydreaming obsess the subject and create an artificial life in him.

 

Daydreaming can make you attach to the forms that you are repeatedly dreaming about. For example, if you are daydreaming about a girl or a boy who is gone, you create a magnetic astral form that becomes a cause to bring that boy or that girl into your future lives. You tie yourself with her or him through your daydreaming, and you do not allow yourself to meet other people who are karmically related to you. Those who come to us without pressure are closer and more beneficial to us than those whom we force to attach to us.

Nature is a living Being with intellect, heart, and energy

The mechanical theory of the Universe is responsible for the damage that human beings are doing to the planet. People, especially modern scientists, cannot yet see that Nature is a living Being with intellect, heart, and energy.

 

In the Core of the Nature, numberless faces and beings work to provide the needs of all. Nature works in all its facets simultaneously, whether it is on higher or lower planes of existence.

People created an ideology labeled, “Have at the expense of others.” This is the deepest cause of human unhappiness and it is the cause of all our diseases. The moment we think in separative terms, that moment we cut ourselves from the facet of Oneness, we create conflict in our whole system. One day people will realize that cancer is the result of all the accumulated signals impressed upon our genes while we were serving separatism and self-interest in our thoughts, emotions, and actions. Of course, all separatism and self-interest is occupied with jealousy, fear, hatred, and revenge. Such states of consciousness affect our cells, and the cells try to live a separate life.

What is good for all is good for you. This is a new concept for present humanity. In the past we thought only for our separated benefit. In the future it is the Common Good that will condition the good for your individual self.

“If you love God but do not love your friends, you have failed”

Ten, fifteen years ago a “zombie-like” person came to see me. He had a wife and three children. He deserted them and I asked, “What are you doing now?” He said, “Eventually I got rid of all these chains and now I am serving God.” I said, “You are sick. You stink.” He said, “Man, I came here because I knew you were a Teacher or Leader or something.” I said, “I am nothing. You be something. By leaving your duties and escaping your duties you will not even reach closer to your nose.”

The secret words of Christ that we did not understand until now, and are still not understanding, are our curse. “If you love God but do not love your friends, you have failed.” That is not love. First you must love people. Then you can love God.

This is such a deep idea but people do not talk about it. You are in this religion, that religion, in this church, in that church and you say, “I love God.” Yes, but you neglect your children, your neighbor, or you hate people who are not in the same religion. How come? These things must come to the surface.

What is vanity?

Vanity is a false image we have about ourselves. Our failures and negative self-images, however, are not in the same category. Vanity is created when you think you are the most beautiful one and you start acting like that. You think you can do everything, and you hold that idea in your mind. A vanity is formed by three wrong images: you think you can DO anything, you HAVE everything, or you ARE everything.

If you think you are ugly and you are not, that is a post-hypnotic suggestion within your mind, and you act as if you were ugly. But it is not vanity. A vanity is something beyond what you are or have or can do.

We hear people say, “If I do not make it in this incarnation I will make it in the next”

We hear people say, “If I do not make it in this incarnation I will make it in the next.” They play like rabbits on the path. The tortoise reaches the goal, and the rabbit is late. When such people are late, they are suspended. They remain asleep in space for millions of years. They are thrown out from the system for a long time. When they come back, their former pets or animals are their teachers. So it is up to each of us.

The day of Brahma, the day of God, of our Sun, is measured in time. If you do not make it in that period, you are out.

The less we think about humanity, the more we lose our individual interest

Everyone of us works, cries, and does everything possible only for ourselves. Sometimes ten percent, fifty percent for our family, one percent for our group, and then maybe forty-five percent for our nation, but we never think about humanity.

The less we think about humanity, the more we lose our individual interest. That is totally different than what the politicians think. Our diplomacy is totally built on what we can get from others. Our individual, group, and national diplomacy is based on how we can get and how much we can get from others for our own interest.

We have seen the bankruptcy of this kind of politics or diplomacy. What needs to be understood now is how you can save the whole so that as a cell within the whole you are benefited by the prosperity, by the success of the whole, which is endless and forever.
