In the etheric body of the planet there is a pattern of right actions. If you do any pattern of right actions, that energy flows to you, sublimates you, and transforms your whole body. Right actions are as important as right speech. Dirty joking, silly, stupid talk destroys your physical-etheric body. People can have fun making jokes, telling stories, but they do not know what they are doing to themselves. Immediately it comes to your head center or throat center and devastates a few screws there, a few springs, and your radio or machine is not working. That is why we are not healthy.
We eat, we do many things to be healthy physically, but in the meantime we do the opposite of it and we destroy ourselves. So use right action, right speech, right service, and intelligent organization of your life so that your life follows in patterns that are in the etheric body of the planet. It is very beautiful.

Children and the Subtle World
More and more children are conscious about the Subtle World. Some of them are able to see subtle forms. When they find mockery and indifference from adults, they slowly suppress their visions.
From a young age children must be told about the Subtle World, the human soul, and the immortality of the soul. Death must be presented as it is in reality: leaving the body and becoming aware of another dimension which is more free and beautiful, providing a good life was lived on earth.
They must learn from a young age about the Laws of Karma and Reincarnation because these are two fundamental laws which will make their life much more beautiful, orderly, and constructive.
We will try always to do our best when we know about the Law of Karma. We will always strive to live a better life in order to have a better incarnation. The Law of Reincarnation will plant in us the hope of the future; it will expand our horizon and make us understand the events occurring on earth.
Children rarely learn from the civil laws. Given any opportunity, or if they think they can escape from the consequences of their misdeeds, they will repeat their mistakes.
The Laws of Karma and Reincarnation will not be taught to them as laws of punishment and retribution, but as laws which execute justice in all aspects of life and open all gates of opportunity for them to strive for a better life. The Law of Karma and Reincarnation will not only change the behavior of a child but will also transform his consciousness and his being. When a law is part of one's consciousness, he does not need reinforcement because he will always act according to what his consciousness suggests, according to the Laws of Karma and Reincarnation.
Children must know that whatever they think, speak, and do are just like seeds planted in the ground: the flowers or fruits of the particular seeds will correspond exactly to those seeds. If they think good things for themselves and for others, good things will come to them. They will know that all that is beautiful is so because someone thought in beauty, spoke in beauty, and acted in beauty. If we want to have a beautiful life in the future, we must plant seeds for it.
All these ideas can be given to children in the form of stories, movies, and fairy tales, instead of filling their minds with the images of crimes and violence.
Children have more impressions from the Subtle Worlds than adults. When people speak to them about the Subtle Worlds, these impressions will awaken and prepare them to accept the information. They will accept the stories of the Subtle Worlds, not because their reasoning and logic is as yet undeveloped but because they unconsciously remember certain events from the Subtle Worlds. Such things as sports activities, domestic work, gardening, the study of natural history and world events, the construction of various items, and work on mechanical devices keep the minds of children balanced. The energy of blessing
Bliss or blessing, is nothing else but the flow of energy coming from your Core. Every human being has this reservoir of energy we call blessing because each of us is a Spark of God. The energy of the Almighty One Who created the whole of the Universe and Cosmos is within each of us.
This energy of blessing flows through certain people more than others. Their secret is that they use it, and others do not use it. Why is it that some people do not use this energy? Instead of blessing people and events, instead of looking life from the viewpoint of blessing, they curse it. They create attitudes and actions that separate, distort, destroy, and stop the flow of energies of blessing. The electricity of the energy of bliss is cut by hatred, fear, anger, jealousy, revenge, slander, and gossip. Negative thinking and hopelessness stop the flow of electricity. And because 80% of humanity is in these negative attitudes, emotions, and states of consciousness, they do not let the current of divine energy flow out of them.
We all should try to control ourselves so that we can increase the energy of blessing in our lives. What are you going to bless? For example, you can make the experiment of blessing your flowers. People have made this test by blessing several pots of flowering plants and leaving several other pots unblessed. The blessed plants grew strong and opened their flowers while the others were still in bud.
You can bless your flowers, trees, and even your money. Bless any money that is given to you either mentally or with your hands, and you will see the difference. You can bless your clothing and your food. Before you drink a cup of water, bless it. Before you use your bed, before you take any piece of furniture into your home, you can bless it. And before you shake hands with someone, bless their hands.
Why should we do this? People and things are loaded with negative emotions and negative electricity, especially money! So much irritation, so much hatred, revenge, negative emotions and thoughts are attached to money that you must not put it in your pocket unless it is first blessed.
These things are very simple. But if you do them you will see that an energy begins to flow through you, through your hands. Energy flows through the palms, especially, because there are two centers there. Clairvoyants can see a bluish light radiating from the palms of someone who is doing a blessing.
In ancient times the blessing of children was considered to be very important, and children would even fight among themselves about who would receive father's blessing. And a marriage that is blessed is a different marriage from one that is not. Fathers and mothers must bless their children every day. They must put their hands on their head and make a great wish, "Today until you come back you will be healthy, happy, creative, strong, courageous, and daring. You will be a beautiful boy, a beautiful girl." But we do not do that. We are too busy to bless our children.
That blessing slowly, slowly penetrates into our children because they receive five percent, six percent, ten percent, two hundred percent. Eventually it becomes their nature. It establishes itself within their nature. The boy or the girl who is receiving this blessing energy becomes a different student, a different man or woman in the world. But it happens gradually, slowly, not at once, because bliss energy is really energy, is a very high frequency, and it cannot be assimilated immediately. It takes time and penetrates into our nature slowly, slowly.
Then you must bless, of course, your food. We are now used to fast foods. We go and swallow it without blessings. But blessings are very important for the food because the food is prepared by so many people who have icky feelings, icky thoughts, icky attitudes, and all our actions are nothing else but electrical. This emotion is electrical, this mind is electrical, this action is electrical. When we deal with the food with hatred, jealousy, revenge, fear, anger, irritation, the food assimilates this pollution. The food assimilates our bad thoughts. If the plates are very beautiful, the decorations are very beautiful and we start eating without blessings, we eat the feelings, the thoughts of those people who prepared that food.
You are going to bless your wife, your husband every morning. You are going to bless the babies who are not born yet so that they come with that blessing.
Is it possible to live as a unit of blessing? How can we bless people? First of all, your presence must be a blessing. A healthy, creative, talented, and compassionate human being is a blessing to others. People who have energy, time, and money to sacrifice for the progress of others are a blessing. You can be a blessing for others through your donations to beneficial institutions and individuals, through your creative work, and through sharing what you know. An enlightened man is a great blessing to those who come in contact with him. He teaches you and his smile is a blessing.
It is not only your hands which can transmit blessings, but also your eyes and your presence as a whole. Your voice can be a blessing or an irritation to other people, depending on what it carries. Some people's voice make you want to instantly escape because there is no blessing of any kind in their voices. There is only hatred, separatism, jealousy, and fear.
Your smile, walk, manners, your whole beingness and expressions can bless people because every action is a fountain manifesting your innermost energy reservoir. Whatever you do, you are spreading energy. So you are going to become a blessing in the world -- because as you become a blessing, you are blessed. You give blessings to receive more blessings.
Are you able to see the blessings that you do have? Or do you say, "I don't have this, I don't have that. It is raining, it is snowing, and I want a pair of shoes that I can't buy. We find a million things to complain about. The first step to destroy your magnetism and electricity is to complain, because that means you are not grateful to God or to the Universe that has given you everything.
Blessing is very nice. Instead of becoming every morning sour and hateful and angry, you bless everything and you become a blessing. That is the goal of every human being.
Blessing energy changes the genes. That is one of the mysteries not yet revealed to physicians. Blessing changes the character of the genes and replaces them with healthier and supernatural genes.
Blessing creates in the blood those agents which go and attack degenerating cells and replace them with generating cells.

What is resurrection?
When man descended into matter and matter and matter and matter and matter, eventually he became the matter. What is resurrection? It is just the reverse. Man is going eventually to awaken and say, "I am sick of this condition." Don't you say that about your body? "I'm sick of this!" I was saying it this week. I was so sick, cold and coughing, sneezing. I said, "I am sick of this body!" Eventually when you get sick, the science of resurrection starts. Why? Because sickness creates the observation that you are not body, and you do not like the body. Immediately when you say, "I do not like you, I do not like what you are," you are separating yourself from your body. You are becoming a little more spirit than the body. That is why this life created sickness.
We do not like our emotions. Many times we say, "Why did we become angry, why did we hate, why were we jealous, why were we mixed up?" Well, it is because we were identified, and once we do not like what we were, we again pull ourselves out from that condition. Look what is happening. You are resurrecting yourself.
Then we come back and say, "Why did I think that way? Why did I organize that way? Why was my plan like that, so that it brought to me suffering and pain and anxiety? I do not like my thinking, my planning, my way of making judgments. I do not like them." Immediately you say, "I do not like what I thought," you are separating yourself from your thought, and you are looking at it. Immediately you gain the position of observer, you become resurrected.

Resurrection is victory over our nature
Resurrection is for everybody. It is not only for Christ. If you read the comparative religions and mythology, you will see we have thousands of Resurrected Ones, and you are resurrecting already. Every victory over your nature is a resurrection. If you conquer your body in five degrees, you are a five-degree resurrected one. If you conquer your habits, you are resurrecting. If you conquer emotions, your negative emotions, you are conquering. You are a resurrecting one. If you are conquering your mind, your thoughts, fear, anxieties, hatreds, glamors, illusions, vanities, ego, you are resurrecting. So again, we came to the same idea: Resurrection is victory over our nature.

The symbolism of the Easter egg
In olden days, Christians used the symbolism of the egg to represent resurrection. This is a good symbol for resurrection because man's aura is egg-shaped. Sometimes this egg-shaped aura is crystallized like an egg, and man cannot come out of it through his consciousness or striving because he is cemented in his habits, glamors, illusions, materialism, hatred, and anger. With all these things, he builds himself a real shell around himself.
When the chicken breaks the shell and comes out, it means that the spirit or the soul in the egg, which is latent and in inertia, eventually breaks his old beingness and becomes a new life. Imagine a little chicken breaking the eggshell around him and suddenly seeing the trees, the birds, and the life around it. Imagine how new everything will seem for it. In the same way, resurrection is a steady progress to break your own limitations and hangups and eventually to be born into a new life, totally different from what you were before.
The mystery of resurrection is the transformation of our lives. Eventually we will live in such a way that every year we will not be the same beings. We will be more refined. We will be in greater light and greater beauty. This is the purpose of life.

The message of the resurrection
Resurrection is victory over the mind, over your thought mechanism, victory over your thinking, so that daily not a single thought pollutes your aura or channels an evil force to the world. It is easy to hold your mouth, it is easy to hold your hand, it is easy to control your body, but can you control your thinking? Can you keep that thinking pure, really pure? Resurrection means to achieve the primordial, the essential state of your consciousness, of your beingness. When we become pure selves, we achieve resurrection.
This resurrection takes effort, takes energy, takes dedication, takes tremendous labor so that eventually you are not trapped within your body, urges, and drives, within your emotions, your negative emotions, within your irritations and fears, within your wrong thoughts. When you conquer your physical, emotional, and mental bodies, you conquer the grave. These three bodies are called, in the Ageless Wisdom, the grave in which man is buried. Joy is really the greatest healing power
A business can be ruined if even one key person yields himself to negativity or depression and loses his joy for his service and labor, his enthusiasm and vision. Great leaders and executives are those who in the most critical times still keep the flame of joy and hope shining in their hearts.
Joy must be introduced into schools and classes. The greater and deeper is the students' joy, the greater will be their understanding and success. My Father had a "habit." Whenever he entered his pharmacy he would ask, "How are my boys? Do they work in joy?" and when leaving the pharmacy, he used to say, "Joy be with you until I see you again."
Once he told me that the prescriptions filled under the mood of joy were more potent medicines than medicines prepared by a person in a negative mood. If any one of his workers was ever a little on the negative side, he used to call him and look in his eyes for a few minutes. Usually the person would feel uplifted.
Once a worker told me that when he started to work for my Father, the hardest thing about working in the pharmacy was being joyful all day. "But now," he said, "the hardest thing for me is to be without joy."
I wanted to know what science, psychology, and philosophy said about joy. After searching, I found very little written about joy. To my knowledge, there is not a single scientific research study about joy and what it does for the body, the emotions and the mind, as well as for plants, trees, animals, and the whole environment, which also includes groups, nations, and the whole of humanity. Joy is really the greatest healing power because it is the power of God, the power of your Spirit. You can heal yourself through increasing your joy.
I can tell you very sincerely that my body was really the weakest body, for certain reasons I do not know. But I healed myself continuously through joy. I would sit down and become joyful; ten minutes later, my pains, anxieties, and worries were gone and I was energized. You do now know how many dark arrows hit me -- gossip, slander, treason -- to make me feel smaller and smaller. One day I said to myself, "Get out of this grave!" "How?" "Through the light of joy." And I did it!`
You will notice that your joy is affected by what you do to others. If you want to be happy, you do not steal from people and kill them. Searching for happiness improves your relationships. If you want to be really joyful, then do not have hatred, fear, anger, jealousy, and revenge. But people say, "No, I want to be joyful, and in the meantime I want to hate and destroy." Eventually they find out that this does not work.
Let us say, for example, that you are feeling joyful; then the telephone rings and you start lying. Ten minutes later, you discover that your joy is gone. Satan and God cannot live together. In searching for joy, happiness, and bliss, you slowly behave and correct your life. You improve your life and make it a process of moving toward perfection.
As we move into Aquarius, all humanity has started to search for happiness. A few people who are more advanced are looking for joy and bliss. Of course, there are people who feel happy when they do something nasty to others or hurt them, but even such people are very unhappy people, even sick people. They get themselves into many kinds of trouble and problems, eventually to find that joy cannot be theirs by taking the joys of other people.
Every time we deprive other people of their joy, we record these experiences in our psyche. These experiences slowly accumulate and begin to create certain pressure in our being. Often depression and heavy grief are the result of the pressures of such accumulated expression, which become explosive.

Joy must be introduced into schools and classes. The greater and deeper is the students' joy, the greater will be their understanding and success. My Father had a "habit." Whenever he entered his pharmacy he would ask, "How are my boys? Do they work in joy?" and when leaving the pharmacy, he used to say, "Joy be with you until I see you again."
Once he told me that the prescriptions filled under the mood of joy were more potent medicines than medicines prepared by a person in a negative mood. If any one of his workers was ever a little on the negative side, he used to call him and look in his eyes for a few minutes. Usually the person would feel uplifted.
Once a worker told me that when he started to work for my Father, the hardest thing about working in the pharmacy was being joyful all day. "But now," he said, "the hardest thing for me is to be without joy."

The greatest joy is condensed in flowers
The greatest joy is condensed in flowers. That is why people give flowers to each other. If you are sensitive, you will see how much joy there is in a rose, in jasmine and other flowers. They have condensed joy because the joy devas give their essence to flowers.

Serenity is a state of consciousness...
Serenity is a state of consciousness in which you can see exactly what the situation is around you, but if your mind is agitated, you cannot see things as they are. The reflections of a tree take the form of a snake. You see rocks in confused shapes. In fact, you cannot see anything in a river or lake if it is agitated.
What does it mean to be serene in mind? To be serene means to have a state of consciousness in which you see exactly what things are. You do not fabricate them.
Most of us fabricate. For example, "That lady didn't smile at me. I know she is going with someone else." You fabricated it. "My wife said hello to him. This means that he is in love with her." You can fabricate these things, but when you fabricate, the cause of fabrication is your agitated mind. Your mind is not serene. You do not see things as they are.

A great Avatar is working with the animal kingdom
The animal kingdom has a great manager. A great Avatar is working with the animal kingdom, as His garden, to develop them in evolution, to promote them, and eventually to graduate them from the animal kingdom. He is a great Avatar. Who very soon is going to appear and protect the animal kingdom.
What will happen if this Avatar takes us to court? I wrote about it in "Unusual Court". I asked how many lives, how many cows you ate? And why did you do that? Of course we have the vanity to understand and think that man is the king of Nature, and he can do anything he wants. What a great illusion that is; what a great deception that is. Who said we are the king? I think we are not even slaves because a king will not destroy his kingdom. Animals are so smart to live naturally, but we created an unnatural life.

Your influence is your value
The Lords of Karma register very carefully the influence people have on others. A man or a woman is a continuous influence for good or for bad.
Suppose you are an actor and you are impressing upon the minds of people how to commit crimes, smoke, use alcohol, kill, use foul language, and so on. Here, ten million people are watching you, and out of that ten million, eight million are strongly impressed to imitate you in their lives. How and by what means will you be able to clear your karma when all these people will add to the account of your karmic liabilities with their crimes?
This means that you will continuously be responsible for what they are doing and will do because of your influence. How are you going to pay your debt to such people? Thus all those who are influencing multitudes because of their position and talents must be careful not to lead people to a dead-end street or into a path leading to destruction. On the other hand, you can create a steady karmic income eternally by influencing people's lives toward perfection.
We not only influence people by what we think, say, and do, but we also influence them by what we do not think, do not say, and do not do. Your influence is your value. You did not kill a person, but you did not prevent a person from killing. Sometimes people are more guilty in not doing than in doing something. In the future we will have laws that will consider things you did not think, words you did not speak, and actions you did not take that hurt people or led them into confusion or danger.
Our progress on the path of perfection is assisted by the inspiration and impressions we give to people to walk toward beauty and light. In the darkest time of our lives such influences come out of our subconsciousness and turn into leading lights on our path.
You must be somebody in order to make another person or persons somebody. You cannot lead people by what you are not. People always need to look up to a hero. When heroes disappear from our life and schools, corruption and crime take their place. You must be an image in the memory of people for inspiration, courage, and striving. They may forget your help and your words, but they will never forget the example that you demonstrated in critical times in their lives, assisting them to overcome their troubles and limitations. Such images are blessed images that travel with us into infinity. Before he crosses the threshold, every person must feel in his heart the joy that he became a good influence in life and a way for others to achieve.

Freedom from fear is gained through...
Freedom from fear is gained through being punctual in synchronization with the great mechanism of life. Fear is the result of delay in your duties, responsibilities, training, and discipline. Fear is the result of being late in your advancement or evolution. Punctuality will free you from such a fear because punctuality means keeping pace with the speed of progress, or at least being in harmony with that speed.

Sex without love creates a deep disappointment
Sex without love creates a deep disappointment. One can have intercourse with love and enjoy the act, but if joy and love combine, the couple reaches ecstasy. Ecstasy is not a feeling or state of consciousness, but a moment of opening the aura into the Intuitional Plane, from which comes a beam of bliss. Ecstasy in sex cannot be reached by those who commit adultery, who change partners frequently, who are not faithful to each other, or whose hearts are divided. Long years of sacrificial and joyful relationship can open the gates of ecstasy. This is why sex is sacred. It can transform a person, if he is ready for it.

All creatures are transformers
The more we can learn to sense God in all living creatures, the more our eyes will be opened to the wonder and beauty of Divine Purpose in creation. When you think about flowers and birds -- or any creature -- they are not just what they seem on the surface.
When a bird is singing, it is acting as a refinery, as a transformer in Nature, to enhance the life of humanity on this planet. Singing birds take in energies from the sun and change them into something that human beings can assimilate and actually increase the joy, health, and happiness of their lives.
All creatures are transformers, human beings as well. Blavatsky once said that the moon died because humanity, a vital transformer in its ecosystem, left it. And this planet will die when humanity does not live on it anymore, because humanity brings energy to the earth; it transforms energy from the sun on its way to the planet. You must believe in only one God
Sufis teach that you must turn your back to the world and become a worshiper of one God, not a worshiper of many gods. What is God? God is something that you believe in and trust. But most of us trust our bank accounts, our car, our friends, our boyfriends, girlfriends, our teachers, our police, our country. We have many gods; we are polytheists.
You must believe in only one God, nothing else. But people believe in millions of gods. Their dollars in their pocket are a god; their strength is a god; their certificate is a god; their position is a god. Which god do you want?
Sufis say you must not be a polytheist; you must not worship many gods. You must worship one God. For example, in a time of danger if you trust your strength before you trust God, you are worshiping yourself. In a time of stress when you are calling somebody to help you before you call God, you are worshiping another god. When you are depressed, if you are calling a psychiatrist, a psychologist instead of calling God, you are worshiping other gods. It is a very advanced Teaching.
You should worship only one God. You must say, "I have faith in that Almighty Power and He will do good." You pray two, three days, and then the third day you give up. Well, you found another god or you lost the god that you had. Do you understand? Immediately when the radio, television, telephone comes you forget God and the angels. That is their Teaching, a heavy Teaching.

That one is not a good teacher if he pleases you...
What role should the teacher play in the life of the student? The teacher's job is to prod that student constantly and keep him or her uncomfortable. That one is not a good teacher if he pleases you in such a way that you go away saying, "Isn't he beautiful! I liked everything he said." On the contrary, you are going to leave the lecture with complaint, saying, "That teacher is pushing me too much. I can't stand him! He's bugging me!"
The real teacher will work in a way that brings all the hidden trash in your life to the surface. And the real students or disciples will respond with a heart that opens wider and wider with gratitude, the more uncomfortable the teacher makes them.

Sufis hesitate to speak about God
Sufis hesitate to speak about God, not because they do not believe in God but because their whole heart and spirit is for God. When you ask a question, "What is God?" They look at you and say, "Who are you to ask about God, and who am I to tell you what God is?"
Here in our Sunday schools everybody already is a friend of God. They know what He is. He has a nose and ears. That is God. We brought God to such a limitation, to our level of understanding, that God became a cartoon. When I was in a foreign country one month ago, a little girl said, "Can you tell us what God is?" "Suppose," I said, "I can tell you. Will you understand? The best way you can know about God is to go to the desert at midnight and look at the stars for two, three hours, and ask them, what is God? And if the stars tell you, you are lucky."
Do not cheapen God. That is why in the Bible it says, "Do not take His Name in vain." Do not take His Name; you do not know what He is! Solar systems, millions of galaxies, millions of zodiacs, He is beyond it. What is beyond it? Beyond it is beyond it and beyond it and beyond it. Who you are to understand God? Sufis do not talk about it.
They say, "Only God reveals Himself to you if He pleases." And when He reveals Himself within your soul, you zip your mouth because it is an ocean, something you cannot contain. And here they say, "God, God, God."
God must not be spoken about; God must be observed in your actions and behaviors. Do not tell me you are this or that. Show me. Are you? If you are, you do not need to talk. A rose does not say, "I am a rose." You see it is a rose; it is so beautiful.
