Instead of trying to contact your beloved ones through mediums, you can please them greeting and receive their blessings if you do philanthropic work in their name.
For example:
-Publish books dedicated to them.
-Give a yearly dinner to poor people in their name.
-Help needy families in their name.
-Help orphans and widows financially in their name.
