Those who cultivate their mind without their heart develop materialism. For such people all is matter, and beyond their knowledge and experience, nothing exists. They cannot explain how they think, how creative geniuses come into being, how the senses of beauty, logic, reasoning, love, and compassion are created. All is matter for them.
For a materialist there is no soul; there is no immortality. For a materialist the Supreme Mind does not exist -- all is matter. Usually such people develop intense cruelty and violence in order to reach their goals, as other people seem to them like material objects.
When the mind is developed at the expense of the heart, the heart no longer transmits the feeling of humanness, love, and compassion, and the mind ruthlessly attacks its victims.
