Man must be taught not to beg or demand from Higher Forces those things that he can provide for himself with his labor.

Christ tried to shift people’s attention from begging for material objects, telling them “to seek first the kingdom of God, which exists within every man,” and “all that they need they would have.”

Religious leaders, in making people focus their demands to receive, made people forget about the major command of Christ of “seeking the kingdom of heaven first.” This delayed the evolution of humanity for ages, and based all human relationship with Higher Forces on the idea of personal gain.

The true religion is not expectation of paradise or of any kind of reward. The true religion is to make people contact the Treasure found in their own Core and to display that Treasury to help others find their Treasury. In other words, the true religious Teaching is not based on receiving, but on giving.

Dark forces distort positive words

Dark forces find words and expressions which help people find direction, inspiration, and unity, and then relate these words to something painful, ugly or criminal events so that people instinctively reject these words and lose the keys to certain doors on the path of their lives. Some of the words they have tried to distort are: discrimination, nobility, virgin, sacred, wise, and so on. If you see how much these words are prostituted in the movies and literature of our day, you will get an idea about the intentions and motives of the dark forces.

The heart always will win, and its victory will not be a transient victory.

Tolerance

To be tolerant means to give freedom to others to worship the way they want, to translate the Scriptures the way they want, to believe the way they want because you want them to leave you free in your spiritual path of striving.

To be tolerant does not mean to allow criminals to continue their work. Tolerance is related to the principles of Beauty, Goodness, Righteousness, Joy, and Freedom. You have the complete right to be beautiful, the way you want. You have complete freedom to be a source of goodness in the way you want. You are totally free to live in righteousness the way you want. You can enjoy life the way you want, if you are not violating the Freedom, Beauty, Goodness, Righteousness, or Joy of other people.

As your tolerance deepens, your respect for the freedom of others deepens. You begin to enjoy other cultures and other interpretations of art, religion, and philosophy because tolerance teaches you that every flower has its own beauty and every seed may bloom in its own beauty. This petal makes you respect the Divinity in all beings and enjoy the various ways that Divinity manifests itself.

Patience has many rewards

I know a woman who had an alcoholic husband. One day she decided to divorce him, and she came to me saying, “I want to divorce him. All he does is drink.” “Do not hurry with your decision,” I advised her. “Be patient; maybe one day you will change him.”

She decided to wait, and it took her four years. One day she brought her husband to see me and introduced me to him. “He is a new man,” she said. “I am glad I followed your suggestion. He has received a promotion at work, and we brought you a gift.” With tears in his eyes, the husband said, “I am so glad that you helped my wife in those dark days.” And the woman said, “There is no higher joy than the joy I felt when this man overcame his drinking habit. I wanted a new man, and here he is.”

Patience has many rewards. It also pays your karma and releases you from many debts.

Mechanical activity wears out the etheric body

Our lower bodies are very eager to be mechanical. They like to take over any activity and run it without the conscious participation of the subject. Conscious activity must be our daily goal. Whatever we do, we must be conscious of it.

 

Mechanicalness uses the etheric body without charging it with psychic energy. Such a mechanical activity wears out the etheric body, and you feel exhausted. This is why in every conscious action you gain energy. Whenever you are “spaced out,” you lose energy.

We all think that we are immortals...

We all think that we are immortals. We are not. Immortals are those beings that created continuity of consciousness and became living souls. If you do not build a living soul within you, immediately when you die, you are dissipated, you are finished, you are gone. Then how do you incarnate?

 

You do not incarnate. Your acts, your emotions, your thoughts, echo into the Universe and come back and form the same personality that you had. That is what is called, in Indian and Tibetan wisdom, “scandas”. It is the scandas that build what you are now, and you do not have any continuity of consciousness with the past, neither with the future.

 

Immediately when the sun within you is risen, you have continuity of consciousness and you are immortal. Do you remember your past lives? You don’t. Then you are dead. Do you know where you are going to go? You don’t. That is why Christmas is such a serious moment in which we are going to realize, “What am I doing here? What have I done for sixty, seventy, eighty years?’ What did you do? You ate. You enjoyed. That is all. You hated, you were angry, you robbed people, you deceived, this or that. That is what we did. How can we overcome that? We can become a new human being.

Such a fall will lower the consciousness of nations and prepare the way for many problems and difficulties.

Woman in the ancient world was worshiped

Woman in the ancient world was worshiped. She was not an advertisement in pornographic magazines. She was not a symbol of sex, of lust. She was a symbol of beauty, purity, and fragrance. Se when people think about woman, they must not think about sex, body, or legs. They must think, first, that this woman has a special, divine, or universal quality in her spirit that causes flowering.

In the ancient times they understood that the woman is so important and that when woman degenerates in any civilization, that civilization ends. That is why we say, “The homes are built or destroyed by mothers.” It is very powerful!

Don’t forget. A great woman can give birth to a great child. The father is okay. The father is beautiful, but the child is not nine months in the father. In that nine months it is so secret. In that nine months you are not just building the muscles and bones. That is what people normally think, but you are building the emotional mechanism there, secret mechanisms, the mental mechanism, the motives, the future, the visions, dreams, aspirations, the spiritual insight and foresight. You are building all these in your body, and if you don’t have all these things, what are you going to give to your baby? Are you giving freeways, accidents, hurts, irritations, jobs, and on and on? What are you going to give to that baby who is given to you as a gift?

Your babies are your gifts, your holy gifts. They are a part of God. They are a gift coming to you. How must you accept that gift, and how worthy must you be for that gift so that the gift is really great!

Gracefulness is so important. When I see girls acting like cowboys, like men, it is the reverse of their nature. Girls must spread grace, harmony, music, dance. When they walk into a party, there are so different. It’s so beautiful to see the woman in her gracefulness, with her dress, hair, and manners.

Yesterday I was in a restaurant. A girl was cursing her husband in such a manner even a boy couldn’t do that. That shouldn’t be the nature of woman. We are going to worship them because men need to worship!

If you don’t have someone you can love and worship, you are lost! And man does not admit that. Go into your heart and really examine. When you worship that woman, she uplifts you. If you don’t love that woman or if you humiliate that woman and make her dirty, you lose yourself! I’m not giving you religion, psychology, physics, or chemistry. This is life! Pure life! You should have somebody to worship, and you must expect your women to be worthy of worship. Make yourself a worshiper of beauty. That is so beautiful!

People often think that the accumulation of knowledge is equal to the expansion of consciousness. This is not true. One can be a highly equipped scientist but have a very small consciousness, if his heart is not in harmony with the use of his knowledge and if his knowledge does not bring blessings for humanity. Accumulation of knowledge is just like the accumulation of jewels or any other articles. The accumulation of such objects does not mean that the person is growing in his consciousness.

When knowledge increases but the consciousness stays the same, the man enters into the zone of self-destruction. Nothing good comes from a man of limited consciousness, even if he carries loads of information.

Inclusiveness

Inclusiveness, in the esoteric understanding, is acceptance of the true values and achievements of other people, but it is also refusal to identify with their evil intentions, separatism, ego and destructive behavior. When you are inclusive, you sense that you are one with all souls, but you do not participate in their ignorance and crimes.

Inclusiveness does not mean to throw yourself into the mouth of a lion, or to surrender yourself to evil. Inclusiveness exists only on the level of Beauty, Goodness, Righteousness, Joy, Freedom, and other high principles. You cannot be inclusive with crime, syphilis, and other diseases, but you can love and feel one with those who suffer. One is not inclusive by opening himself to germs, while in the meantime taking vitamins. One cannot include an instrument that is not tuned with instruments that are in tune. One should not include in himself things that are mathematically wrong with things that are mathematically right.

Inclusiveness is the ability to see values and not reject them, but make them a part of the Inner Treasury. Inclusiveness does not mean to leave your husband to sleep with many other men. Inclusiveness does not mean to collect flowers and mix them with poison oak.

Inclusiveness means to have a sense of unity without yielding yourself to the weaknesses of others, or leaving yourself open to many kinds of exploitation.

Inclusiveness means to have a very high-level of discriminative power that enables you to find values and precious stones and put them to the right use in projects.

If a person does not believe in eternal life, he will not have an afterlife

If a person does not believe in eternal life, if he totally ignores it and says there is no afterlife, he will not have an afterlife. When he dies, he will remain in a totally unconscious state until two thousand years later he again incarnates. If you think that you are going to have an afterlife, you will have one. If you do not, you are in a terrible condition.

It is mostly people who do not believe in afterlife that create problems in our world. Eventually they go through so much trouble that they crack.

Rid yourself of "will"

People in the western hemisphere have a very wrong impression which has penetrated to their bones, and they cannot rid themselves of it. They think that man has free will. He does not. There is only one will, and that is the Will of God. Christ said many centuries ago, "Thy Will, not Mine, be done." The only way to improve life is to understand that Will and to manifest It. Rid yourself of "will" because it is the urges and drives of your body, your glamors, illusions, vanities, pride, and separatism. These are not Will, but the "will" of the elements. There is only one Will. If you want to be Christ-like, you must say, "Not my will, but Thine be done."

The only factor that changes your life is your goal

People do not realize that the only factor that changes your life is your goal. Change your goal, and all will change. Find a higher goal, and your whole life will orient itself to that higher goal. Without changing your goal, you cannot change your personality, your life, or your environment. If you have higher goals, a higher center in your being becomes active.

Like an arrow, your spirit must fly toward the target of perfection.

There is a difference between the heart and emotional desire. You need to use clear discrimination in order to follow your heart. The direction of the heart reflects the principles of beauty, purity, unity, compassion, synthesis, and freedom. Emotional desire often imitates the voice of the heart, but if you have a musical ear, you can immediately determine which is the correct sound. Emotional urges are mostly related to the satisfaction of our senses and ego. They are separative, greedy, and selfish. The voice of the heart leads to self-denial, sacrifice, striving, labor, inclusiveness, and beauty.

 

Those who follow their heart are challenged to climb to great heights. Those who follow their earthbound desires and emotions will find themselves on the road to hell. The voice of the heart creates heroes; the urges of the emotions create slaves.

Time is wasted acquiring knowledge. Knowledge will not deliver us from the evil we have created in this world. It is more probably that knowledge will eventually destroy us if we do not expand the network of our intuition, feeling, and consciousness. Only an expanding consciousness can make the mind function properly to solve the problems of survival.

Can departed ones communicate with us?

No astral entity, if he is living, comes to the physical plane. That is absolutely forbidden. It is not astral or mental entities that we see. It can be either an astral corpse or dark forces, or even mischievous devas that play these games. They use the astral body of a dead person and come to your room to pretend they are owners of the astral body. They can enter into an astral shell and make you think a loved one appeared to you in your dream. The deva activates the recording in the astral shell and plays it back to you, and you believe your loved one is communicating with you.

 

A human being leaves his astral body in the astral plane and can never come to the physical plane. No dead person comes back to the physical plane. You can go to them, but they cannot come to you. It is forbidden; the veils are closed.

 

They do not give any messages. It is your projection, your fabrication that makes you believe they are giving messages. No entity can descend through the veils into the physical plane after death until he goes to the heaven side and comes back into physical incarnation. Departed ones will never come to you. Any messages given may be from dark forces or indifferent devas.

The reason that the world is in such a miserable condition is not because people lack Teachers. The reason is that there is a lack of real, true students and disciples. Teachers are available when one wants to find them.

It is interesting that, because of the lack of discipline and maturity, people are more drawn to teachers that are caught in their glamors, illusions, and vanity than to Teachers that are anxious to tear down the glamors, illusions, and vanities of people.
