Our mind is occupied with our shoes, with our clothes, with our sex, with our food, with our money in the bank. That is where we are. From that we cannot look up and expand our consciousness. That is why every trouble in the world is because our mind is not a balanced mind.
Sometimes we have one minute to meditate, to pray, but even when we meditate we say, “God, give us another one hundred dollars. Give us a girlfriend, boyfriend. Please help me not to die.” It is all turning around the axis of our self-interest. But sometimes we meditate in the garden and suddenly a light comes into our mind, into our consciousness that this world is not just what we are seeing. There are different dimensions.
If you are smart enough you must find that thread and penetrate into it and find the mysteries, one by one, into the Universe and expand your consciousness – because when you pass away They [the Great Ones] are not going to ask how much money you left. They are going to ask, “What are you in your essence? Are you a cheating, deceiving human being, or are you a noble, spiritual being?
