Initiation means making efforts. You are making physical effort, emotional effort, and mental effort to surpass the conditions in which you find yourself and the level you have previously achieved. Initiation is not a big or mysterious word. It is not an occult word. It is actually a simple, psychological term that means you are working so hard that you do not stay where you are presently. All life is progressive, and you must progress continuously.
What does it mean to progress? You are going to make your body really beautiful. You are going to dress beautifully, groom your hair beautifully. You are going to make your health beautiful. This takes effort and striving so that eventually your body becomes first-rate. You can run, swim, wrestle, work hard, and your body can take it. People do not understand what a simple thing is initiation.
