'Stop blaming others!'

The cause of the events we live is never outside ourselves, but within us. So instead of continually pointing the finger at your circumstances, your family, society and government, you should say to yourself once and for all: 'Stop blaming others! If you had been wiser, you wouldn't be in this state. Look for the cause of your happiness, unhappiness, successes and failures within yourself, not outside.'

In fact, it may not be in this incarnation but in another that you created the causes of your present difficulties. But that doesn't matter! The point is to understand that you yourself are always the determining factor.

To the extent that you deny your own responsibility, everything will continue to escape your control. But the moment you become truly conscious that everything depends on you, you will have the reins of your destiny in hand.
