Instead of admitting that people turn away from religion because its representatives are not up to their task and don't know how to speak about the truths of faith, some Christians continue to blame the Devil. Who has apparently sneaked his way into the Church! But the truth is that if people do not have elements within themselves likely to attract the Devil, and if their doors are not open to him, he is powerless.
Why do Christians give him the power to enter anywhere he wants, with no one to stop him? Have human beings been so badly designed (the Lord certainly didn't know how to go about it!) that the Devil is powerful enough to steal his way into their midst, and into them? Of course not; it is important to understand that no negative force can gain entry anywhere without permission. This is why initiatic Science states that man is as powerful as the Lord, but only for purposes of resisting, of saying 'no'.
